Bear House is a self catering three storey semi-detached holiday home in Newquay, Cornwall situated in Bezant Place, a secluded village setting in Pentire, Newquay, Cornwall. Bear House is stylish home from home self catering holiday accommodation and makes the perfect base for any holiday in Cornwall. Bear House is child friendly and dog friendly and has Satellite TV (including the Sports Channels).

Equipped for year round use and to a very high specification, the attention to detail makes this property hard to beat. It is completely self-contained, carpeted and tiled throughout and fully equipped with everything necessary for an enjoyable self catering holiday. High chair, travel cot and stair gate are available in the house. Beds are made up for your arrival, bed linen, towels and tea towels are included at no extra charge (please supply your own beach towels). There is also private parking along with a secure garden. Bear House is child and pet / dog friendly and operates a non smoking policy. In the lounge, a high quality double sofa bed provides extra sleeping facilities for up to two people. Additional guests are charged at 10% of the booking price. Dogs are welcome (a maximum of two dogs - £35 each per week).

Situated close to Fistral Beach (world-famous as the beach in Europe for surfing and surf competitions). Other nearby areas of outstanding natural beauty include the Pentire Headland, The River Gannel, Crantock and Holywell Beach with the Golf course of Newquay Golf club located just behind Fistral Beach. Within a few minutes walk there are small shops/off licence and several hotels offering meals to non-residents. The centre of Newquay is a 10 minute walk, therefore close enough for those who enjoy the night life but far enough away for those who prefer to enjoy the beaches, restaurants and the magnificent coastline.

The Accommodation

Downstairs: Kitchen (fully fitted with integral appliances), lounge/dining room and separate cloakroom with WC and washbasin
First floor: two twin bedrooms, bathroom with over the bath shower, WC and washbasin
Second floor: one double and one twin bedroom, shower room with WC and washbasin.
Outside: small enclosed secure garden together with parking to the rear of the property

Location

By road Newquay is within easy access of the A30 dual carriageway (twelve miles) which is served by the recently improved A30 bypass at Indian Queens, knocking a good 30 minutes off the journey time in the busy summer periods.

Newquay also has an airport (5 miles from the town centre) with flights from the UK between Newquay, Dublin, Luton and Stansted, along with flights from Europe being added as well.  Western Greyhound runs a bus service to and from Newquay Airport.   Click on the link for more information.  http://www.westerngreyhound.com.   Newquay railway station is in the town centre and National Express Coaches serve Newquay too.

Rental Rates and Availability

To book your holiday at Bear House either email or telephone your booking through - this will provisionally book your stay. You must then print out the booking form, sign it and return it with your 1/3 deposit. We will confirm your booking on receipt of your deposit.  Dogs are charged at £35 each per week (maximum 2).
