Bear House is a self catering three storey semi-detached holiday home in Newquay, Cornwall sleeping 8-10 people. Bear House has recently had a "makeover" with new carpets fitted up the stairs and on the landings, the first floor bathroom has been updated with over the bath shower, in the kitchen a new dishwasher and oven have been installed, on the top floor the shower has been renovated and the two double bedrooms, two triple bedrooms and lounge have all been completely redecorated throughout.

Situated in Bezant Place, a secluded village setting in Pentire, Newquay, Cornwall. An idyllic setting away from the stresses of everyday life, with the pace set to slow. Bear House is stylish home from home self catering holiday accommodation and makes the perfect base for any holiday in Cornwall.

Equipped for year round use and to a very high specification, the attention to detail makes this property hard to beat. It is completely self-contained, carpeted and tiled throughout and fully equipped with everything necessary for an enjoyable self catering holiday. High chair, travel cot and stair gate are available in the house. Beds are made up for your arrival, bed linen, towels and tea towels are included at no extra charge (please supply your own beach towels). There is also private parking along with a secure garden. Bear House operates a non smoking policy.

A high quality double sofa bed in the lounge provides extra sleeping facilities for up to two people. Additional guests are charged at 10% of the booking price.

Situated close to Fistral Beach (world-famous as the beach in Europe for surfing and surf competitions). Other nearby areas of outstanding natural beauty include the Pentire Headland, The River Gannel, Crantock and Holywell Beach with the Golf course of Newquay Golf club located just behind Fistral Beach. Within a few minutes walk there are small shops/off licence and several hotels offering meals to non-residents. The centre of Newquay is a 10 minute walk, therefore close enough for those who enjoy the night life but far enough away for those who prefer to enjoy the beaches, restaurants and the magnificent coastline.

Location

By road Newquay is within easy access of the A30 dual carriageway (twelve miles) which is served by the recently improved A30 bypass at Indian Queens, knocking a good 30 minutes off the journey time in the busy summer periods.

Newquay also has an airport (5 miles from the town centre) with flights from the UK between Newquay, Dublin, Luton and Stansted, along with flights from Europe being added as well.  Western Greyhound runs a bus service to and from Newquay Airport.   Click on the link for more information.  http://www.westerngreyhound.com.   Newquay railway station is in the town centre and National Express Coaches serve Newquay too.

To book this property:

1. To make a provisional booking online simply check availability and the price by clicking on the link below. Our booking system is very easy and simple to use and it will prompt you through the process.
2. Only dates that are underlined can be selected as arrival and departure dates. For enquiries about other dates please email or call us.
3. When you have filled out your booking form and made your provisional booking we will contact you soon afterwards to confirm your details and arrange payment. To confirm the booking we will ask you to pay a non-returnable 1/3 deposit (subject to terms and condition) within three days by cheque, credit, debit card or bank transfer. Please note that credit card payments will incur a 3.6% charge on the total cost of your holiday.
4. The balance and a refundable damage bond of £250 will be due four weeks before your holiday commences. If your holiday is booked less than four weeks before arrival then the total is payable at the time of booking.
